Swimming is easier if you go along the stream. But, what if you run head-on against it? Undoubtedly, you lose loads of your precious energy that you've built up through all that junk food you put into your stomach. If you are really among the unfortunate ones, you might even end up losing your life.
In life, the most successful and revered are those who go up against the stream. If we surf through history, we'll find that the great personalities we read about are the ones that went against the stream, not with it. Pioneering something is always a risk. It is always going against the stream. Undoubtedly, severe life-threatening risks are associated with it. No superhero ever blindly went ahead with the herd. Superheroes are always odd. I found a rather interesting quote that is given below. That's pretty fascinating, isn't it?
Here's to all of you who are being pulled at, being bullied, and being humiliated for being different. Kudos to you my friend, for being different. You are just a step away from being a legend. If you are ever bullied for being different, remember that no ordinary person was ever able to achieve something extraordinary. All of us have been there. Let's face it, life is not an easy ride. Each one of us is going through many ups and downs. In the initial stage of life, none of us get to determine the way our life is and would be.
At some point, that choice is given to you. At that point of time, it's totally up to you. Your thoughts and attitude decide the next stage of your life. That's exactly what we call 'the breakthrough'. The major turning point that determines your life for years to come. How you react and how you deal with it is important. There's yet another thing one must make note of in this context which is, nobody is born ordinary or extraordinary. It's all incumbent on the path that one decides to tread on. And that choice is solely the individual's. But, it is also greatly influenced by social factors.
