The National Basketball Association, founded in the year 1946, is a major professional basketball league in North America. Just like IPL in India, it has a crazy fandom all around the globe.A game of basketball in the NBA consists of 48 minutes with a division of 4 quarters, with each quarter being 12 minutes. This league has 30 teams consisting of young men from the United States of America and Canada competing to win the championship. This league has its teams divided into two parts, the Eastern and Western conferences. Each conference has its finals and the winners of the conferences compete for the ultimate cup.

These teams pick different university players through a process called the NBA Draft.The draft is held every year where these teams select the players who’ve given the best performance at the university level and get a chance to go to the professional level.

Out of the 30 teams, some of the famous teams are Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors. These teams are known for their best performance in the league.

They had some of the best players of the era like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Lebron James, Stephen Curry, and many more. My personal favourite is Michael Jordan who played for the team Chicago Bulls from the year 1984 to 1998. Jordan won six championships during the period 1990 to 1998. His dedication to the game and determination for victory is what made him my favourite.
